LEIGH RU winger Gary Monaghan's eyes are on Twickenham.

He will play for Lancashire in Saturday's (March 9) CIS County Championship semi-final against champs Warwickshire at Preston Grasshoppers.

Gary retains his place in a side which shows 10 changes from the crucial Northern Group decider earlier in the season.

Meanwhile, Leigh thrashed Newton-le-Willows 45-5, a superb all-action class show with Steve McKenna outstanding. Matthew Brown, Phil Lee and debut centre Ross Fletcher also played well.

TYLDESLEY got back the spirit as they beat Oldham 17-10.

With Lee West back to his best, backed by Andy McGinty on his first team debut, the Well Street side got it right.

Fraser Mackintosh grabbed the first try from a 60-yard passing movement, skipper Dave Sivill grabbing the second.

Lee Cunliffe's drop plus two Sivill penalties pushed Tyldesley well into the clear before a late Oldham surge.

Tyldesley U12s beat Old Aldwynians 40-5 with tries by Alex Caine 3, Matthew Barton and Paul Jones 2.

CULCHETH beat Eccles 17-7 with tries from Ryan, Bray and Devlin.

LOSTOCK drew 6-6 with Vulcan, Andy Partington twice on target, good work from Ste Chadwick and Ste Endicott.

The 2nds lost 12-5 to Lymm despite fine shows from Geoff Dawson and Shaun Hughes.
