AN Oasis of tickets dried up in Manchester when floods of thirsty fans drank the well dry by splashing out £17.50 each to see their super group perform live at Maine Road football stadium in Manchester.

Fans were then left with no option but to cross somebody's palm to turn the mirage of seeing the boys into a reality.

If they wanted to see the popular group they were having to part with a staggering sixty quid to a London-based broker who is currently flogging tickets for vast profits.

"If fans want to see Oasis badly enough they'll pay any amount to get what they want," said the shameless shark of a broker.

The broker was told by the Journal that before ticket supplies dried up here in the North West the official selling price of tickets in Manchester was an affordable £17.50.

We also told him that the supplies had come to a stop because of charlatans such as himself.

But his reply was: "If you can get tickets for that amount I'll have every one you can get your hands on and make sure it's worth your while."
