EXPERTS are investigating television reception at homes in the shadow of Turf Moor's huge new stand.
Dozens of residents claim the multi-million-pound Longside replacement stand is interfering with TV signals and spoiling their viewing.
The football club says it wants to help as much as possible and has asked Burnley MP Peter Pike to arrange a survey so a solution can be found.
Investigators visited the area last week and the results of their inquiry, including what action, if any, needs to be taken, could be out soon.
Gerry Stallard, engineering spokesman for the Independent Television Commission, said: "How quickly we can proceed will depend on possible frequency allocations, the need to discuss with broadcasters and government departments and of course the co-operation of the football club."
Mr Pike told the Citizen that about 60 residents had contacted him with complaints about reception.
He said: "The football club have asked me to help expedite matters. They want to remain good neighbours, and it is not quite as simple as some people may think, but things are moving in the right direction."
Adrian Heath (above) has returned to Burnley as manager. The former Clarets, Stoke, Everton and Manchester United star says he is delighted with his new challenge.
