GOLF prodigy Anthony Keenan is the most improved young player in the country.
The 12-year-old from Van Dyck Avenue, Burnley, has slashed his handicap in the last 12 months from 31 to 9.5.
The achievement persuaded the Golf Foundation of Great Britain to present him with the prestigious award.
Anthony has twice won the Captain's Day prize at Burnley Golf Club and is the youngest ever holder of the Harold Hargreaves Trophy.
He broke the record score for a junior in stableford competition (68) when 11 and last year won four monthly medals.
A first year at Haberghan High School, Anthony devotes all his spare time to golf.
He is definitely one to look out for.
