THE inquiry has begun into the blueprint of development which will take the Ribble Valley into the 21st century.
The public inquiry into the Districtwide Local Plan was ordered after almost 500 objections were made to plans and policies after a borough consultation of the draft document.
Government inspector Mr Ken Barton is leading the inquiry which is due to end on April 10.
The inspector's decisions will be published at a later date.
