THE WIFE of Blackburn Rovers defender Colin Hendry suffered a horrendous leg break at her Ribchester home.
Denise was playing with her children when she tripped, breaking her leg in two places as well as dislocating the ankle.
The injury is similar to that suffered by Hendry's Rovers colleague Graeme Le Saux in the game against Middlesbrough at Ewood Park before Christmas.
The accident happened on Wednesday, shortly after Hendry had returned home from a Scotland training camp.
Hendry said today: "The doctors have said she will make a full recovery. It was a very unfortunate accident but she is in fairly high spirits."
