RECORDS were broken when Britain's most famous madam visited Nelson's ladies dinner club.
It was standing-room-only when Cynthia Payne, notorious in the '60s for her sex-for-luncheon-vouchers deals for businessmen, spoke at Pendle's Fencegate restaurant.
Cynthia, who was jailed for keeping a house of ill-repute, brought the biggest response for tickets in the club's history.
