POLICE have ruled out foul play in the death of a 27-year-old man.
John Connolly was found dead on the sofa at his friend's flat after returning from a night out.
Yesterday Det Insp Terry Richardson of Blackburn CID said the man had become involved in a fight in Great Harwood and had sustained an injury to his nose.
But today he added: "The pathologist has carried out a post mortem examination and we now don't suspect foul play."
The coroner has been notified of the death.
