ROSSENDALE put their recent poor performances behind them against Clitheroe at Dark Lane and battled out a 2-2 draw in the North West Counties' League First Division.
Clitheroe fielded five changes to their regular line-up and rarely looked like taking all three points.
It took all of three minutes for Dale to take the lead after a free-kick floated into the penalty area was met by Alan Sayle who headed home to make it 1-0.
On 31 minutes the Blues pulled the game level. Paul Mullin beat the offside trap and sent keeper Chris Pearce the wrong way with a miskick before following up to score with ease.
Rossendale re-took the lead after the break when Barber beat keeper Carlo Nash.
With 70 minutes on the clock Clitheroe pulled the game level when a corner from Chris Grimshaw was floated into the edge of the box and Paul Mulin headed in.
Clitheroe have a chance to get back to winning ways tonight when they entertain Salford City at Shawbridge (kick off 7.30pm).
