HUNDREDS of Lions Club members from across the North flocked to East Lancashire for their annual convention.
The event, staged at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Clayton-le-Moors, attracted around 300 delegates from the North West and North East.
Accrington Lions staged the annual convention for the first time in their 30-year history.
Mr Ken McGarry, a spokesman for the group, said: "This is the first time we have been asked to host the convention and it is an honour and a privilege.
"We have been putting this together for two years to make sure that everything goes exactly to plan."
The packed timetable included a fancy dress night and business convention. The weekend was crowned with a grand banquet and ball on Saturday.
