IT IS TO be hoped that a better job is made of the refurbishment of Blackburn Boulevard than that at King William Street and Ainsworth Street.
In both these areas lots of paving flags are cracked. At the approach to the new escalator a nice design is ruined because quite a number of flags are cracked.
Will the station clock be in working order? The clock on King William Street has not run properly since it was installed.
If it had been retained, the old market house clock would have been a nice relic from a bygone day.
