THREE musical legends are on their way to the Fylde to perform with a top Blackpool band.
Blackpool Brass has arranged for Kenny Baker, Eric Delaney and Don Lusher to make guest appearances with them during the year.
The series of guest concerts, each of which promises to be a sell-out, begins with world-famous trumpeter Kenny Baker, who will be on stage at Lytham's Lowther Pavilion with the band on May 4.
Kenny, famed for his Baker's Dozen dance band, rarely appears with brass bands, making his Fylde performance even more special for local musicians.
Don Lusher, who performed with the band in December, returns this year for another festive concert and Eric Delaney will be in town on August 26.
Band chairman Shaun Pickup wrote to the musicians to ask them to perform with Blackpool Brass and they were all keen to take part.
He said: "Kenny is 75 years old, but is still as good now as he was in his heyday.
"He one of the best trumpeters in the world and is looking forward to playing with us.
"Everyone is thrilled to bits he and the other musicians are coming to perform with us.
"We will have three good concerts with well-known guests who have their own following.
"The band is really looking forward to working with them."
