FREDDIE the lonely Rainbows' mascot is no longer alone thanks to the Citizen.
Three weeks ago we ran a story about Preston's Grimshaw Street Rainbows group.
All the girls had moved up to Brownies and with no new recruits, the group faced an uncertain future.
But after highlighting the story in the Citizen, two little girls have come forward and the group is hoping to recruit even more youngsters aged five-seven.
