A FRAIL pensioner was thrown to the floor and had his wallet snatched by an intruder who broke into his home.
The thief broke into the old man's home in Brook Street, Preston at 6pm on Tuesday February 27, and escaped with and a large amount of cash.
The attacker was aged 30, clean shaven, with light coloured short hair, wearing a light grey high-neck jersey and grey/blue jeans.
In a separate incident a woman who claimed to be working for the benefits agency tricked her way into an elderly woman's home in Edward Street, Walton le Dale, near Preston and stole £25.
The thief was aged 35, 5ft tall, wearing a brown three-quarter coat, sandy coloured shoulder-length glossy hair - possibly a wig - and smudged make-up. The incident happened at 10.30am on Monday February 26.
A dark blue GT mountain bike was stolen from outside a post office on Leyland Road, Preston at 12.45pm on Tuesday February 27.
Two teenage boys were seen acting suspiciously at the time. They were both aged 16, one was slim, with short black hair, wearing a light coloured jumper. The other had short blond hair and was wearing blue jeans.
