BUSINESSMAN Anthony Capstick is set to take on a new role - as an Internet detective!
Anthony, who runs an online information service in Whalley, has been asked to help BBC Radio 5 for the start of Science Week.
He'll use the Internet to try to answer listeners' questions during a live show on Sunday.
The 38-year-old information technology expert, who set up Instant Search four years ago, has had plenty of practice at surfing the 'Net for obscure information.
Recently, one man asked for details of a one-horse American town that shared his name. Another asked if he could find a 3D diagram of a mummy!
"It's amazing what people want to find out and very exciting that we can use the Internet to get back to them within minutes about even the most obscure things," said Anthony.
The programme, The Big Byte, at 12.15pm, aims to demonstrate the amazing amount of information available through the Internet.
"This is an excellent opportunity for listeners without access to the Internet to find out just what a marvellous mine of information the Net offers, however wacky or seemingly unanswerable the question," said Neil George, producer.
