A PORTRAIT of a beautiful bride pictured at Devil's Bridge, near Kirby Lonsdale, Yorkshire, has won Blackburn photographer Paul Duxbury a place in a top contest.
Paul has won through to the quarter finals of the Agfa Professional Photographer Awards and picked up a £200 prize for his photographs of Amanda Harris and Mike Oswald on their wedding day.
Paul, who studied at Blackburn College and Manchester University, has been photographing weddings since 1978.
He prides himself on his personal service - meeting the couple several times before the big day to build up a firm but friendly relationship.
He now has a chance to win through to the grand final, which carries a £1,000 prize. If he is successful, Amanda and Mike will also pick up £500.
