POLICE are hunting for two men who launched an attack on a man in an Indian restaurant using a hammer and an iron bar.
Thirty-two year old Paul Abbott of Rutland Street, Blackburn was assaulted and had substance sprayed in his face at the Sahjan restaurant on Longsight Road, on the A59 at 11.30pm on Friday.
One of his attackers hit him with the hammer and the iron bar and the substance was sprayed in his face after he was chased into the foyer.
He was repeatedly beaten in the car park and was taken to hospital with bruising and head and back injuries, before being released after treatment.
