REGARDING David McDowall's remarks (Letters, March 6) about cooking lobsters, I wonder how he would like to be placed in a vat of boiling water?
Would he not scream? Or would the noise he made just happen to be air being forced out of his mouth under pressure? Would he die instantly?
I am not being anthropomorphic, but to say lobsters don't feel pain is absurd.
