EMPLOYERS are being urged to make better use of achievement records when recruiting.
For several years every school leaver in East Lancs has been compiling a National Record of Achievement, detailing academic qualifications and attributes.
"When recruiting staff it is sometimes hard to make an accurate assessment from a one-off interview situation," said Andy Fawcett, training and development director for ELTEC.
"National Records of Achievement offer a valuable pen picture of potential recruits."
Converted for the new archive on 14 July 2000. Some images and formatting may have been lost in the conversion.
