BURNLEY-based golf professional Paul Carman won the third fixture in the Compsty Winter Series at Fairhaven with a three-under-par 69 - the day after flying back from Portugal where he top scored in the Golf Holidays International pro-am.
The Huddersfield pro fired rounds of 69 and 70 for a seven-under-par total over the Penina course in an event reduced from four to two rounds because of torrential rain.
Skipton's Peter Robinson was runner-up, four off the pace.
Wilpshire teaching pro Simon Townend tied eighth with 73 at Fairhaven where the final fixture will be played on Tuesday.
