A CARE firm set up four years ago and now boasting a turnover of £400,000 has been bought by a multi-national group.
The Allcare Home Care Agency was set up by Gill Bailey and Yvonne Carter to provide services for Ribble Valley residents and has contracts with social services.
It provides care ranging from 'pop-in' services to 24-hour care for the terminally ill and employs more than 70 care workers.
The firm, based in Clitheroe, has been bought for an undisclosed sum by ISS Care UK Ltd.
"Allcare is our second acquisition in this sector in the past three months," said ISS UK managing director Ken Pepper.
"We anticipate this sector will maintain its rapid growth and will ultimately represent a significant proportion of ISS."
