ENERGY efficiency grants are being offered to people in Burnley on benefits or aged over 60, but to get the full grant they most apply soon.
The grants, limited to £315, are available to people on income support, housing benefit, council tax benefit, family credit, disability working or living allowance and the over 60s. But on April 1 the scheme will change and anyone over 60, but not receiving any of the above benefits, will one by eligible for 25 per cent of the grant.
Advice on keeping in heat and saving fuel will also be given.
