THE TWO Tory poll tax rebel MPs of East Lancashire today welcomed the death of the Community Charge.
John Lee and Ken Hargreaves said the changes were good news for their constituents in Pendle and Hyndburn - both key marginals in the next General Election.
Mr Hargreaves said: "I am pleased to see the death of the poll tax having fought against it for four years. It is very good news."
