VIRTUALLY a whole town will be behind Clitheroe football team tomorrow when they continue on the road to Wembley in the FA Vase.
The rallying cry of "Come on you Blues" will echo round Clitheroe's Shawbridge ground as the local team faces the biggest match in the club's history.
Record crowds are expected for the second leg of the semi finals of the FA Vase and Ribble Valley Mayor Councillor Dorothy Pearson today issued an official civic "good luck"!
She said: "The lads were very unlucky last week and we all hope they can find the net tomorrow before the home crowd.
"Whatever happens they have done themselves and Clitheroe proud."
Clitheroe FC go into the second leg after a 1-0 away defeat last week at Mangotsfield.
