A MULTI-thousand pound recycling project is ready for launch in the Ribble Valley.
The borough council, which at the moment has only a limited involvement in recycling initiatives, has pledged a further £30,000 for the forthcoming financial year to carry out various projects.
The cash will be added to a further £43,500 from the 1994/95 budget and the council is also hoping to secure another £18,000 of supplementary credit approval from the Department of the Environment.
Members of the borough environmental and social services committee agreed to review the progress of the whole initiative at regular intervals.
