WORKERS at a crisp factory were to lose their jobs, two years after the firm was taken over and revived.
The bombshell announcement came on the same day as the parent company announced a dramatic £1 million-plus turnaround in profits.
All but 10 of the 65 staff at XL Crisps, Great Harwood, were issued with redundancy notices when crisp production ceased at the Waverledge factory.
