REGARDING the prospect of regional government, presented by Labour leader Tony Blair (LET, March 11), although he says this proposal "will not impose another layer of bureaucracy," I find this hard to believe.
But then I have no faith in politicians.
Currently, I am to pay a further £100 per annum on my council tax. Regional government, I am sure, will make further inroads upon my battered wallet.
However, as all this lies in the future, I might get lucky - I could be dead!
