LOTTERY fever is being fuelled in Blackburn with the launch of a new lottery-only outlet in the Shopping Centre.
Norwich Enterprises, owned by William Hills, has opened a purpose-built outlet in Cobden Court with two computer terminals selling tickets.
Spokesman Chris Stephenson said the company had more than 30 similar outlets in shopping centres throughout the country from Fareham in the South to Falkirk, Scotland.
The centres also sell scratchcards, phonecards and lottery products, and carry television screens to advertise local businesses.
Mr Stephenson said: "We find people like to get their tickets as they are passing, and we feel we can give a faster service because we are selling only lottery items."
