TWO wins in four days swept Woodbank, of Bury, back to the top of the league as the three-horse title race threatens to go right to the wire under the Cheadle town floodlights on Wednesday.
The Reds took an early lead when Ian Owens tucked away Peter Lunns corner on eight minutes.
Two minutes later Stuart Hutton lashed home Carl Greenhalgh's cross before Owens gave the visitors a 3-0 interval lead with a replica of his first effort.
Carl Greenhalgh killed the game with a fourth just after the restart and substitute Jake Heap rattled the bar 4-0.
On Sunday at Nuttall Park Lambeth Rovers took a Sitock early lead, wind assisted.
Steven Taylor was on hand just before the break to volley home the equaliser after Ian Owens headed on Peter Lunn's corner.
Just after the break Wayne Dalton spectacularly scissor kicked Woodbank into the lead after a Lunn corner was partially cleared before Stuart Hutton weighed in with goals from a Carl Greenhalgh cross and a Danny English free kick.
It was Dalton again with 15 minutes remaining who volleyed home a Jake Heaps headed pass before Carl Price headed home number six after a good run by Lunn.
On Sunday at 2.40pm Woodbank visit County HQ Brantingham Road to meet Barrhill in the county semi-final before embarking on their Easter tour to Noordvijk, Amsterdam, and the Hague.
