CLITHEROE seemed to have Wembley on their minds in this North West Counties' League First Division clash.
Initially it looked as though they might snatch all three points from the clash and started the better with Paul Mullin going close, but his shot hit the post.
Mullin was proving to be a thorn in Penrith's side and crossed for Andy Taylor, who was beaten to the ball by a defender.
After the break Clitheroe lost their momentum and the chances dried up for both sides.
"It was a diffcult pitch to play on and the game was not an easy one to play in," said joint-boss Gary Butcher.
