DOUBLE World Champion Carl Fogarty is setting his sights on a third World Superbike title in a row.
The Blackburn hero, speaking at the official launch of his 1996 season at Peppermint Place nightclub yesterday said: "I'm going for a third title - that's what I'm here for.
"I feel good. It's a new bike, a new team, but the same Carl Fogarty."
And the launch provided the press with a first look at his Honda RC45, which it is hoped will propel Fogarty to world domination once again. Fogarty switched from Italian team Ducati to Japanese giants Honda in the close season and the reigning champion is confident his new machinery will come up with the goods.
"The bike's reliability is not a problem, I just want to get some time on the track.
"I'm under more pressure as a factory rider, but I'm already world champion and have nothing to prove," he added.
Fogarty left the country this morning bound for Italy and final testing ready for the first of the 12 round championship at San Marino on April 14th.
