A NEW club aimed at building links between schools and industry has been launched.
Blackburn College has started a special Business Club which will allow Year 10 and 11 pupils from local schools to take on a special project set by a company.
Tony Reynolds, of the college's faculty of business and management, said: "The youngsters will present a written report and prepare an exhibition this spring.
"It is a great opportunity for them to contribute to a real life business dilemma."
Several schools have so far registered for the scheme, including St Wilfrid's, St Augustines, St Bedes, Witton Park and Darwen Vale.
Any schools wanting to join the club should contact Tony Reynolds or Peter Nangle at the college on Blackburn 55144.
