YOUNGSTERS have been playing their part in raising cash for the Dunblane tragedy fund.
Pupils at Meadowhead Primary School, Blackburn, held various activities including a non-uniform day to collect money for the appeal set up after 16 pupils and their teacher were shot in the Scottish school.
Teacher Nicola Dillon said: "The children here were very saddened by the events in Dunblane. This was all their idea and they've been really keen to do something to help."
Another fund-raiser was a Score-A-Goal hockey competition and players pictured above are, from the left, Anthony Brown, Michael Willacy, Lee Entwistle, Luke Dunnicliff, David Lyons, Neil Hodgkinson and Andrew Ball.
Raffles are also planned.
