WORKERS arriving at the Royal Ordnance plant in Lower Darwen were met by protesters.
Campaigners from the Stop the Hawk Deal held a protest outside the plant as part of a county-wide programme of action aimed at British Aerospace-owned factories.
The campaigners claim that BAe's Hawk jets are used by the Indonesian military against the people of East Timor and are calling on the aerospace giant, which denies the claims, to stop exporting the plane there.
