AN excellent second half performance gave Accrington the three points at Emley.

Stanley took the lead after 26 minutes, Mark Rawstron beat two men and struck a long range shot under the diving body of Emley keeper Richard Coyles.

Emley equalised nine minutes later when Ian Banks struck a direct free kick round the Stanley wall and past Rob Mulloy.

The home side ended the half on top with Paul Viner shooting just wide and Mulloy saving from Shaun Constable.

A minute into the second half Coyles saved Lee Rogerson's shot from the edge of the penalty area. Accrington regained the lead after an hour, a good ball by Brian Welch was finished off by Tom McKenna.

Five minutes later Rawstron played the ball to McKenna who crossed for Welch to head in Stanley's third goal.

Emley tried to get back into the match but Mulloy made good saves from Graham and Banks.
