WE seek the help of readers with a very important health report the National Kidney Research Fund is preparing on kidney problems in children.
It will be used as the basis for a campaign to save lives being undertaken jointly with Bayer plc, Diagnostic Division.
We would like to know about the experiences of parents whose children have, or have had, a reflux problem.
In this condition, urine is forced back to the kidneys and can cause scarring and possibly kidney failure later in life if not detected and treated early enough.
We would like to know of problems in obtaining a diagnosis, especially after persistent urinary tract infection, and the effect of the condition on the lives of the children and their families .
PIease write to me. Your assistance is vital if we are to help other parents whose children suffer in the same way.
