AS an England rugby player and captain of Northampton RFC, I want readers with a place in this year's London Marathon to give money for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
Cancer affects one in three people in this country and will kill one in four. My family was touched by cancer recently when my mother was diagnosed with the disease. Thankfully, she was successfully treated, but I realise that this would not have been possible without the great steps forward being made in cancer research.
If you run for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, you will be helping to give people like my mother a tomorrow they might not otherwise have had.
Please ring Imperial Cancer on 0113 231 9828 if you can help.
TIM RODBER.
