AFTER three straight wins Chorley came unstuck against a more purposeful home side whose second half dominance brought them a deserved victory.
In an action-packed game the turnover of players had a significant bearing on the result.
The Magpies already without Dean Emerson and Andy Thorpe, lost Paul Fleming, Steve Hook and substitute Jason Ross through injury during the game, whereas Bishop's first substitution proved to be a match-winning move, Steve Carter having a hand in all three goals.
Playing down the slope, Chorley began brightly and both Leitch and Critchley were inches from scoring in the opening minutes.
At the other end Simon Marsh saved twice from Paul Dobson before the Magpies went ahead on 25 minutes with a picture goal.
Leitch's free-kick was headed down by Hook for Brian Ross to side-foot into the net.
Marsh saved brilliantly from Andy Dixon before the break and soon afterwards Mark Wright had to clear off the Chorley line with his keeper beaten.
The arrival of Carter promptly did the trick for Bishop.
He set up a cap-in for John Milner on 61 minutes and then 10 minutes from the end the substitute scored himself, touching a reckless backpass from Dave McKearney past the advancing Marsh.
The points were secured on 88 minutes when Carter laid the ball off for substitute Bayliss to lob in Bishop's third.
