LIAM Robinson is set to make a return to the Clarets first team as Adrian Heath's men aim for precious points at Brighton tonight.
Robinson scored after coming on as a second half substitute in the defeat against Bradford and Heath is ready to plunge him into tonight's Goldstone Ground relegation battle.
"I thought Liam did well when he came on," said Heath.
"He looked lively and took his goal ever so well.
"He showed the type of commitment that is needed in the position we now find ourselves."
Robinson could be joined in the starting line-up by the vastly experienced Alan Harper.
He has been in this sort of high pressure situation and Heath has plenty of faith in him.
"Every game - starting at Brighton tonight - is now a cup final for us.
"I still believe that 50 to 51 points will be enough for safety but now we have to battle to get them. It is now a question of character and guts.
"It might not be pretty but we have to get our sleeves rolled up and fight.
"This isn't a time to worry about blends and teams. We now have to stand up and be counted."
Tonight's clash marks a return to Brighton for Burnley's leading scorer Kurt Nogan.
The 24-goal hit-man has a habit of scoring in this fixture.
He scored when the sides met at Turf Moor in October when Burnley won 3-0.
And the Welsh international scored five times for the Seagulls against Burnley prior to his Turf Moor transfer last year.
Robinson could come in for loan man Paul Mahorn, while Paul Weller may make room for Harper.
Heath still has doubts over goalkeeper Marlon Bersford, who has missed the last two games with a back injury.
Wayne Russell is likely to keep his place in goal.
Burnley will choose from: Russell, Beresford, Harrison, Swan, Winstanley, Bishop, Weller, Joyce, Thompson, Mahorn, Nogan, Eyres, Robinson, Harper, Parkinson.
Brighton are deep in relegation trouble,10 points adrift of the Clarets, having played two games more.
They too are looking for their first points of the Easter period having gone down 1-0 to Bristol Rovers.
Brighton will choose from: Rust, Myall, Allan, Hobson, Johnson, Chapman, Mundee, Parris, Minton, Maskell, Rowe, Williams, Storer, Munday, Fox S, Byrne, McGarigle.
