SUPER scout David Roberts helped raise cash for Job Week...by cleaning out snake pits!
David, 11, got to grips with the slippery creatures in a pet shop to collect cash for the annual fund raiser.
And David, a member of the 1st Pendle group, managed to raise £152 in just one week of "bob-a-jobs."
Mum Mary, of Standon Road, Clitheroe, said: "I don't know how he did it but he loved picking them up.
"He does love animals and he's got a hamster but now he wants a snake. There's no way I'm having one in my house though!
"He was determined to raise as much money as possible and I'm really proud of him."
Some of the cash raised will pay for a group of Romanian orphans to attend a special camp in Great Harwood this summer.
