BURNLEY are set to open the 8,185-seater North Stand on Tuesday April 23-prior to the game against Bristol Rovers.

The new stand will be the subject of a safety inspection on Friday but club secretary Mark Blackbourne said the club were confident that the stand will be ready to open in time.

Demolition of the Bee Hole End terrace is due to start this week.

The opening of the North Stand will give Turf Moor a capacity of 15,511 (all seated).

Admission to the stand will be £11.50 for adults (£6 concessions).

Ground and Bob Lord season ticket holders will be able to transfer to the North Stand at no extra cost. The club were today reviewing their plan to charge Endsleigh Stand season ticket holders a transfer charge of £4.50 per game though at the time of going to press no announcement had been made. Season ticket holders will be required to exchange their season ticket vouchers in advance of the match. Members will be able to do so by calling into the ticket office from 2pm tomorrow or by posting the voucher.

People will have to state from a number of preferences-upper and lower tier; front, middle or back and Endsleigh Stand end or Bee Hole End of North stand. Non season ticket holders will also be able to buy North Stand tickets from 2pm tomorrow.
