STRIKERS at the Walkersteel plant in Blackburn were back at work today after a peace deal ended a seven week dispute.
Both unions and management declined to give details of the settlement, which saw 130 men return to work at the Guide stock holders.
A spokesman for the engineering union the AEU said the men returned after making decisions taken at a meeting of members.
