WOLSTENHOLME Rink has hit the acquisition trail again.
The Darwen-based printing products group has paid £3.6 million for Continental Dispersions, based near Chicago.
It is also issuing 373,456 ordinary shares in a placing to raise £3.9 million to fund investments throughout the group and reduce borrowings.
"Continental Dispersions is a good fit with Wolstenholme International and strengthens our presence in the heart of the North American printing market," said joint chairman Tony Rink. "The share placing gives us the ability to continue investing in the development of the group while maintaining a solid balance sheet."
Continental Dispersions supplies specialist products to the American printing industry.
Just days ago, Wolstenholme Rink bought a 75 per cent share in a Malaysian resin manufacturing business.
