CITIZEN appeal boy Dylan Wildman will know by Christmas if he has won his battle against leukaemia.
The brave youngster of Jubilee Street in Darwen was whisked away to Disney World, Florida, thanks the the generosity of our readers.
Since then he has celebrated his seventh birthday and continued specialist treatment at Pendlebury Children's hospital.
His mum, Caroline, said: "He only has three treatments left to go and we are keeping our fingers crossed he will be given the all-clear in November.
"He has good and bad days because of the side effects of the treatment. It takes him a little longer to bounce back after each session but he always does."
More than £2,000 was raised in just six week to send Dylan on the trip of a lifetime.
Caroline added: "We will always be grateful for the kindness shown by the Citizen and its readers."
