A MAN who confronted two trespassers in the garage of his home in Stoneyhurst Close, Haresfinch, was cut on his forehead.
The 22-year-old went to tackle the intruders after spotting them climbing over the fence into his garden. When challenged, one of the raiders hurled a drill case at the householder, causing a slight cut to his left temple. They then ran ran off and were chased for part of the way by the young man before escaping.
Both men were white, between 18 and 20 years old, about 6ft tall and of proportionate build. One had short, brown hair and wore a black-and-white checked shirt and blue jeans, while the other wore a black top and blue jeans.
