EURO MP Gary Titley will be attending a major international conference this weekend on aid for war-torn Bosnia.
He will be representing the European Parliament at the conference in Brussels which has been organised by the EU and the World Bank.
Delegates from more than 50 countries and 25 international organisations are due to discuss plans to raise £800 million for emergency reconstruction work in Bosnia.
The new aid package will be on top of the £400 million already pledged by the world community.
He said: "The hopes and aspirations of the peoples of Bosnia for a more peaceful future will be resting on this conference."
