THE VITAL organs of an East Lancashire crash victim offered hope of life to dying patients around the country.
The heart, liver and kidneys from a dead motorcyclist were transported by helicopter after being collected from Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
Police were concerned for the safety of two youngsters who had been missing from their Burnley home for a week.
