A RUSH hour accident left a motorway heavily congested today as firefighters cut free a trapped motorist following a two car collision.
Two casualties were taken to Burnley General Hospital following the accident on M65 west bound carriageway close to junction eight at Hapton at 8.23am
One of the injured had head and neck injuries. Another person was treated for minor injuries.
