MILL shops have got together to promote themselves to bargain hunters.
Nineteen of East Lancashire's mill shops have produced a 44-page booklet in conjunction with Lancashire Enterprises to be distributed throughout the North West.
Sweets, wallpaper, blinds, spectacles and textiles are among the locally-manufactured products available.
"This initiative is a good example of co-operative enterprise and how it can be used to the benefit of the region and its economy," said Louise Ellman, leader of Lancashire County Council, which helped fund the booklet.
Shops taking part include Hamilton McBride, Karrimor, Oswaldtwistle Mills and John Wilman.
