'LET'S hear the Turf Roar!' was the Adrian Heath, pictured right, rallying cry as he prepared his troops to battle for three points against play-off chasing Bristol Rovers tonight.
And with the 8,000-seater North Stand set to open, Heath may well get his wish.
"We have missed the Longside - and the noise the fans made there - and hopefully we will rediscover something of that atmosphere tonight," said the Burnley boss.
"But we know that it is a two-way thing. We need to give the fans something to shout about. But if we show the same kind of commitment that we have in recent games then we will be all right."
Heath has no major injury worries following the trip to Notts County though said there were a couple of niggles. Gerry Harrison is still out suspended.
He will choose from: Beresford, Russell, Parkinson, Bishop, Swan, Winstanley, Weller, Joyce, Thompson, Eyres, Nogan, Robinson, Heath, Harper, Smith, Cooke.
"It would be nice to be sure of safety and get this season finished off so I can concentrate on what I feel is my most important task of rebuilding the squad," said Heath, who hasn't been able to focus on the future with the threat of relegation hanging over him.
The upper tier of the new stand is almost sold out in advance of its historic opening tonight.
"The demand for tickets for the new North Stand has been high, particularly for the upper tier which is almost sold out," said Clarets secretary Mark Blackbourne. "It seems that people want a view from on high.
"But there should be ample space on the lower tier." Bristol Rovers will be hoping to spoil the Clarets party tonight because they haven't given up hope of reaching the play-offs.
But a return of just two points from their last three games means that they are in desperate need of a victory tonight.
"We know that it is not going to be easy tonight because Bristol Rovers will be coming here looking for a victory," said Heath
"So they won't come here and roll over.
"They'll be making things as hard for us and tonight's game will be as tough as the last two trips to Swindon and Notts County."
The Bristol Rovers squad is: Collett, Channing, Clark, Tillson, Armstrong, Gurney, Browning, Skinner, Miller, Stewart, Beadle, Archer, French, White, Sterling.
Rovers striker Marcus Stewart will play for his club at Burnley tonight amid renewed speculation over his future.
Rovers turned down a £1-million offer from Birmingham earlier this year but Stewart, the second division's leading scorer with 28 goals, is being watched by a number of Premiership clubs.
Tottenham, whose manager Gerry Francis gave him his first contract when he was in charge at Rovers, are the latest club to be linked with him.
"It's flattering but no one has said anything to me," said the 23-year-old Stewart.
Southampton and West Ham, who tried to buy Stewart for £400,000 two years ago, have also been following him this season.
